Camp Nou all set for Spanish Super Cup decider

Tonight sees Barcelona go in search of their twelfth Spanish Super Cup title, whilst Sevilla bid to overturn the first-leg deficit to clinch their second Supercopa. The Azulgranas are in the driving seat following their 2-0 away triumph in the first leg, but there's still plenty to play for at the Camp Nou.

FC Barcelona head into the Supercopa second leg in a commanding position, but the Catalan giants will be taking nothing for granted against a Sevilla FC side renowned for their battling spirit and never-say-die attitude. In the first-leg clash, strikes from Luis Suarez and Munir handed the Blaugranas victory at the Sanchez Pizjuan on a night when the Andalusians showed plenty of endeavour but lacked the quality and cutting edge to put the visitors to the sword. Everything is finely poised as the two sides prepare to renew acquaintances in tonight's second leg at the Camp Nou, where the action gets underway at 23:00 CET.

The first-leg encounter saw Barcelona claim victory in the Andalusian capital, but that win came at a cost, as both Andres Iniesta and Mathieu were forced off with first-half injuries. The Spanish international midfieldersuffered a muscle strain to his right knee, which is set to keep him out for three weeks. Meanwhile, the French defender tore his right hamstring and will also miss the opening three weeks of the campaign. Sevilla head to Barcelona without several members of their first-team squad, with Adil Rami amongst those unavailable after he too picked up an injury in the sides' first meeting. With a handful of his defenders ruled out, Sevilla coach Jorge Sampaoli has drafted in four academy players for the trip to the Camp Nou.

Since taking over at Barcelona, Luis Enrique has won everything going, barring the Spanish Super Cup, which is the only title which has so far proved elusive. ShouldBarça prevail tonight, it would represent their twelfth Supercopa success, whilst the Sevillians will be looking to add to their only Supercopa triumph, which came back in 2007.
