Cadiz CF 1-1 Atletico Madrid (Cadiz win 3-2 on penalties)
Cadiz became the first team to reach the Ramon de Carranza Trophy final after getting the better of Atletico Madrid in a penalty shoot-out following an even contest. Yannick Ferreira Carrasco put Diego Simeone's side into the lead when he was quickest to react to a rebound, but Cadiz levelled in the second half through a Salvi goal. The semi-final would be decided on penalties, with Cadiz shotstopper Alberto Cifuentes's saves securing him hero status as the club progressed to the final.

At. Osasuna 0-1 SD Eibar
SD Eibar came out on top of a friendly between two LaLiga Santander clubs on Friday in the municipality of Etxarri-Aranatz in Navarre, against a backdrop of scorching heat. A first-half Kike Garcia goal after a precise Bebe pass from the left wing was enough to seal the win for Jose Luis Mendilibar's team against an Osasuna side that also performed well. Eibar finally managed to put paid to a four-game winless streak in pre-season.
TSG 1899 Hoffenheim 1-1 Athletic Club
Athletic Club drew 1-1 with Bundesliga outfit Hoffenheim at the Rhein-Neckar-Arena. A fine Oscar Gil strike from distance gave the visitors a first-half lead, but the hosts replied quickly through Andrej Kramaric. It was Athletic's fifth draw in seven pre-season friendlies so far, with the final one coming up against FC Schalke 04 on Sunday.
