Team News:
- RC Deportivo: Joselu (injured)
- Valencia CF: Jose Luis Gaya and Guilherme Siqueira (both injured)
Match Facts:
Deportivo (18th, 8 pts)
- Following a crushing defeat to RC Celta in the Galician derby, Gaizka Garitano's men are raring to restore some pride this matchday. What's more, they need to start winning again sooner rather than later in order to climb out of the relegation zone.
- Both of Depor's two victories so far – on Matchday 1 against SD Eibar and at the beginning of October against R. Sporting – have come on their own patch. Garitano will be hoping that the Riazor faithful roar their side to three points again.
Valencia (16th, 9 pts)
- Since Cesare Prandelli took the reins, Los Che have won one (against Sporting) and lost one (to FC Barcelona). However, that does not tell the whole story as the Italian's team performed impressively against the champions and came desperately close to claiming at least a point. All in all, the signs are very positive at this early stage.
- Two of Valencia's three wins to date this term were on the road, away to CD Leganes and Sporting. They will be bidding to make it a hat-trick of triumphs on their travels by prevailing at Riazor.
