BBVA Prizes: Ernesto Valverde, best coach in the Liga BBVA in March

Ernesto Valverde, the Athletic Club manager, has been awarded the BBVA Prize for the "Best Coach in the Liga BBVA" in March. The award is chosen by the LFP.es website and presented by BBVA, the main sponsors of the competition.

Valverde's good work at the helm of the Basque club has allowed his side to climb into eighth place, after a clean sweep of wins last month in the league. After enjoying a perfect run from the end of February into March with a 1-0 win against SD Eibar, Athletic also managed to successively defeat Real Madrid (1-0), RC Celta (1-2) and UD Almería (2-1).
