BBVA Awards for the best of March

BBVA, the Liga de Fútbol Profesional's main sponsor, has announced the names of the best players and coaches in March, both in the Liga BBVA and the Liga Adelante.

The winners in the Liga BBVA are Unai Emery, Sevilla FC's manager, and Keylor Navas, Levante UD goalkeeper. The coach of the team from Seville managed to string together five wins in March until his recent defeat in the Estadio de Balaídos against RC Celta de Vigo. The run has put his team in fifth place in the table. The goalkeeper from Costa Rica, for his part, continues to be one of the key members of Joaquín Caparrós' team. His saves at key moments have put Levante in tenth position and he is one of the meanest keepers in the Liga BBVA.

In the Liga Adelante, the accolades have made their way down to the Canary Islands. UD Las Palmas coach Sergio Lobera has been named manager of the month for March in the Liga Adelante. The team is in third place in the table thanks to a draw and four consecutive victories. In addition, CD Tenerife player Ayoze Pérez will receive the BBVA Award for the best player in the Liga Adelante. He is a key player for his manager, Álvaro Cervera, and he has played a leading role in taking his team to seventh position in the table.

The voting panel is formed by football professionals who are very familiar with both the Liga BBVA and the Liga Adelante, and who have no links to any of the clubs in the competition.
