BBVA awards for October

The October winners of the BBVA managers and players of the month awards have been announced by the official sponsor of the Liga de Fútbol Profesional.

Atlético Madrid wrapped up both Liga BBVA awards. Diego Pablo Simeone was named the best Liga BBVA manager, while the team’s midfield general, Jorge Resurrección 'Koke', was named the competition’s best player during the month.

In the Liga Adelante, Quique Setién, CD Lugo manager, and Manuel Arana, RC Recreativo de Huelva’s midfielder and top scorer, were named the BBVA Liga Adelante manager and player of the month respectively.

The panel of voters is made up of professional footballers who have an in-depth knowledge of both the Liga BBVA and the Liga Adelante, and who have no affiliation with any of the clubs in the competition.
The awards will be handed out on Thursday the 7th of November in Madrid, Huelva and Lugo.
