"We're ready for Paris," "We want to enjoy it," "It's the final push." These are the words of Jenni Hermoso, Xavi Llorens – the FC Barcelona manager –, and Alexia Putellas. In just a few hours' time, at 17:00 CET at the Parc des Princes, Barcelona have a date with destiny, and PSG stand in their way. After a 3-1 reverse in the first leg, Las Blaugranas are in need of a historic comeback if they are to become the first ever Spanish team to reach the Women's Champions League final.

Over 10,000 supporters turned out at the Mini Estadi for the first leg, but Irene Paredes and Veronica Boquete's PSG outplayed Barcelona. Marie-Laure Delie, Cristiane and Shirley Cruz found the back of the net for the French side. However, Barbara Latorre's goal in the dying moments kept the Catalans' European dream alive.

After thrashing Athletic 4-0 away on Tuesday, Barça head to Paris on flying form. "We hope to play better than in the first leg, have more of the ball, and to be bolder and more positive. We have a really good team and we're high on confidence," assured Llorens in one of his pre-match press conferences. The victors of the tie will face either Lyon or Manchester City. The French side beat their English opponents 3-1 in Manchester in the first leg. The final will take place on 1 June in Cardiff.
