Saturday 25 April sees Liga BBVA kick off with a Catalan derby between RCD Espanyol and FC Barcelona. Sergio González's side are sixth without defeat, while the visitors are eight without a loss and are at the top of the table.

Espanyol will be without the injured Felipe Mattioni and suspended Víctor Sánchez. They will welcome back Salva Sevilla and Juan Fuentes. For the visitors Thomas Vermaelen is the only absentee.

"We go into the game wanting to win. We need to be aggressive and competitive. We need to be strong and take our chances”, said Sergio. Meanwhile, Luis Enrique said of his opponents: “Espanyol defend in a block and it’s difficult to do them damage. Sergio García is a danferous player and they have good aerial attacking play”. The manager also said his side are “mentally right” and in a “very positive run”.
