- RCD Espanyol: Leo Baptistao, Victor Sanchez and Roberto Jimenez (injured)

Match Facts:

RC Celta (10th, 34 pts):

- After drawing against R. Sporting on the last matchday, Celta will be keen to return to winning ways, with the three points offering the chance to close in on the European spots.

- Eduardo Berizzo's men got off to a poor start at Balaidos, suffering defeat in their first two games. Since then they have managed eight victories at their home ground, even sending FC Barcelona away empty-handed. They will be hoping for more of the same against Espanyol.

RCD Espanyol (9th, 35 pts):

- "We need to tread carefully or we'll create problems for ourselves. One game at a time," assured Pablo Piatti in the press conference ahead of the game against Celta. Like their opponents, Espanyol are in the hunt for European football.

-  Gerard Moreno got himself on the scoresheet again on the weekend, netting the third and final goal in Espanyol's win over CA Osasuna. With a nine-goal haul, he is Los Periquitos' top scorer and one of Quique Sanchez Flores' most in-form players at the moment.
