Team News:

- Valencia CF: Aymen Abdennour (injured).

CA Osasuna:Tano, Miguel Flaño, Emmanuel Riviere, Fran Merida and Didier Digard (all injured); Oier (suspended).

Valencia (13th, 40 pts)

- Since losing 1-0 at El Sadar in May 2011, Valencia have gone unbeaten in seven consecutive LaLiga Santander meetings with Osasuna (W4 D3).

- Los Che are keen to give the Mestalla faithful something to shout about again, having failed to win on home turf since beating RC Celta 3-2 back on Matchday 30. Dani Parejo, Munir and Carlos Soler were their scorers that day.

Osasuna (20th, 19 pts)

- Although the Pamplona outfit are headed back to LaLiga 1|2|3, with survival now out of reach, they will be looking to go down on a high to give them some momentum as they turn their attention to mounting a promotion charge again next season.

- On this note, Osasuna defender Carlos Clerc insisted that he and his teammates will not be lying down between now and the end of the campaign: "We've got to try to finish as high up as possible."
