Athletic move forward in the first leg in the quarter-finals of the Copa de la Reina

Real Sociedad and Athletic played the first match of the Copa de la Reina 2018, in a new edition of the Basque Derby played out during the last Matchday of the Liga Iberdrola. Athetic dominated the match and were ahead at halftime with goals from Vanessa Gimbert and Damaris. However in the last minute of the match, Manu Lareo scored a cracking goal as the match finished 2-1, leaving margin for anything to happen in the final leg of the tie.
