The draw for the quarter-finals of the UEFA Europa League was held in Nyon, Switzerland on Friday and as had occurred an hour earlier in the Champions League draw, it threw up an all-Liga BBVA tie. Athletic Club and Sevilla FC will face each other in their bids to reach the last four, while Villarreal CF take on Sparta Prague.
The quarter-final first legs will be played on Thursday 7 April. The second legs will be played on Thursday 14 April. Villarreal and Athletic Club play their opening games at home, while holders Sevilla play their return leg in front of their own fans at the Sanchez Pizjuán.
