Real Sociedad and RC Deportivo will face off in one of the games on matchday 31 of the Liga BBVA. The big news of the game is that this is Víctor Sánchez del Amo’s first game in charge of the side from Corunna. The coach from Madrid will be aiming to open his account with a win that would keep the Galician side out of the relegation side. The side from San Sebastian will be aiming to return to winning ways after a defeat to Atlético Madrid and a draw against Málaga CF.
Squads
The Real Sociedad manager David Moyes, stated in the press conference that he expects to have all of his squad available despite the niggles suffered by Alberto De la Bella and Carlos Vela. Deportivo travel without Diogo Salomão, Hélder Postiga and Cezary Wilk, who are all injured. Also, Luisinho is also unavailable due to a ban.
Thoughts of the coaches
"Europe is difficult but we will continue to aim for it. We want to finish as high as possible" stated David Moyes. Meanwhile, Víctor Sánchez spoke about everything he expects from his side: "We want to be compact and competitive. To do that, we have to perform well in all areas. The main aim is for the team to be competitive enough to make us feel safe in every area. That will gain us a lot of points in every game".
