Real Sociedad (10th, 10 pts):
- The San Sebastian outfit head into their third all-Basque bout in four matchdays level on points with this weekend's opponents. They lost the previous two derbies, 2-0 away to SD Eibar and 3-2 away to Athletic Club, but unlike those clashes, this one comes in front of their fans.
- Considering Eusebio's charges' recent record at Anoeta, they will be confident of finally claiming some local bragging rights. They have gone unbeaten at home since falling 3-0 to Real Madrid in the opening round of fixtures, collecting a draw and two wins in San Sebastian.

In both cases they were in the game until the dying stages, though, before being sunk by late winners.
