The thrilling 1-1 draw between Valencia CF and FC Barcelona with goals from Rodrigo and Jordi Alba was the perfect climax to an unforgettable weekend for the 12 participants in the first edition of the LaLiga Santander Experience of the 2017/18 season.
Thanks to the contests organised by beIN SPORTS in the USA, Canada and Australia, the lucky winners enjoyed a special trip culminating in the LaLiga Santander top-of-the-table clash.
Before the match, they got to explore every nook and cranny of the legendary Mestalla stadium, dressing rooms included, expertly guided by a very special host: the Valencia Women player Natalia Gaitan. They also had the opportunity to get to know the most emblematic sites of the city and meet up with Valencia and Barcelona fan club members, as well as being welcomed by Los Che legend Ricardo Arias.
The high point came when the subscribers and journalists, including the well-known commentator Ray Hudson, got to experience the passions stirred up by LaLiga in the Mestalla stands, the vantage point from where they watched a gripping game.
