Almería are without Fran Vélez and Verza, who are both injured, while Sebastián Dubarbier and Mauro dos Santos return following suspension. For the visitors, Eddy Silvestre and Adrián Colunga are unavailable due to injury. Also, Jeison Murillo is suspended following his sending off against RC Celta.

His counterpart at Granada, Abel Resino, said his side "need to win the game", and for that their side must be "mentally ready" to play the game "like a final".
