Spain's manager, Vicente del Bosque, has declared his 23-man squad for the 2014 FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Belarus (11th of October) and Georgia (15th of October).
The biggest change is the inclusion of Alberto Moreno, the Sevilla FC player, who replaces the injured Jordi Alba having been a regular for the Under-21 side managed by Julen Lopetegui. "He is a dynamic player who is very capable in his position and we have heard very good things", stated Del Bosque, who continues to give opportunities to the young guns from the team that lifted the trophy at the UEFA European Under-21 Football Championship in Israel.
Fernando Torres, Javi Martínez and Santi Cazorla are notable absentees from the list due to injuries. Also, players such as Chelsea FC midfielder, Juan Mata, and right-back, Juanfran Torres, from Club Atlético de Madrid, are back in the squad.
