Albacete have their first points in the Liga Adelante this season after downing Real Betis 0-1 at the Benito Villamarín.
The side from Andalusia missed a number of first half chances, and paid for their errors against an Albacete side that never lost faith. Betis dominated the first 45 and once again forwards Jorge Molina and Rubén Castro worked the opposition's defence. The Castille La Mancha side managed to hold on, which gave them hope for the second half.
The run of play changed after the break and it was the visitors who dominated. They pushed on down the right hand side and after 10 attempts on goal, striker Rafael Fernández 'Chumbi' found the net. Minutes later the forward went close again. Betis tried their best to draw level, but could not find a way through, meaning Julio Velázquez's side have now lost two on the spin.
