Agreement made for the new Leo Messi deal

FC Barcelona announced on Friday morning that it has reached on agreement with Lionel Messi about the player's contract renewal. The forward’s new deal will be signed in the next few days, when the Liga BBVA season has finished.

As such, Barca will be assured of goals and attacking prowess for the next few years with one of the most decisive and acclaimed players in the club's history extending his contract with them. Messi has scored 354 goals in 424 matches and has won 21 titles with the team, figures that have seen him smash all the previous records held at Barcelona.
