Former teammates, friends off the field and rivals inside it will cross paths again in the second matchday of Liga BBVA, where the reunions of players and coaches with their former teams promise to monopolize much of the looks this weekend.

The firsts to do so will be Gerard Moreno and Hernan Perez, although they are wearing now the Espanyol shirt, both grew up as players in the foothills of Villarreal CF,  that this day will have as opponent.  Both homegrown players, though globetrotters, are going to play with their feelings right out at El Madrigal, where the Catalan striker has already stated that "is going to be a very special game to live." In addition, Victor Ruiz and Eric Bailly, now in the "amarillo” team come out from the "perico" grassroots.

The clash between Real Madrid and R. Betis also leave the reunion of two great friends and colleagues of the bench. Rafa Benitez will make his Liga BBVA debut at the Santiago Bernabeu next to one of their top advocates. And the Betis manager, Pepe Mel, has never hidden his devotion and his friendship with the current white manager:  "Rafa is ideal for Real Madrid," he said when the news of his move was met. Who will also return to the Bernabeu will be Antonio Adam, homegrown footballer and former Real Madrid first team goalkeeper.

Even in the Getafe CF-Granada CF there will be reunions. Juan Cala, who played in the "Nazarí" side last year, will receive his former teammates at the Coliseum Alfonso Perez. Something similar will happen at Ipurua with SD Eibar and Athletic Club, two neighboring teams and strongly united by their cultural ties and its players. Both clubs have been exchanging players throughout its history and in this clash, four of them become apparent.

The "armero" team's manager, Jose Luis Mendilibar, now ranks the "eibarrés" bench, but in 2005/06 served from the San Mamés dugout and has rojiblanco past. Just as Borja Ekiza and Mikel Arruabarrena, both raised in the Athletic Academy from early years. A similar situation happens with the current Bilbao squad, which has in its ranks a player that in recent seasons was the man to watch at Eibar: Eneko Bóbeda

Nostalgia also invades the Riazor Stadium, where Nuno Espíritu Santo will return. The stands reminds him as one of the goalkeepers with more personality that have gone through RC Deportivo, and he will live out the game against his former team from the opposite bench, like Antonio Barragan. At the other end stands Fede Cartabia, Valencia homegrown footballer which after going through several teams of the competition, on loan, has landed up this summer in the Galician club and will live his first game against his whole life team.

Diego Pablo Simeone, who played for Sevilla FC when he arrived in Spain in the nineties, José Antonio Reyes and Ever Banega, those who also went through to the Vicente Calderon, will be stars of the clash between Atletico de Madrid and the "hispalenses" this match day. As Roberto Trashorras, who returns to Balaídos, which was his home from 2008 to 2011.
