Villarreal CF and Valencia CF face off in the 10th round of Liga BBVA in one of the games of the weekend.

Team news

Two key players, one from each side, will miss the derby. Villarreal will be without Mateo Musacchio, who joins Bojan Jokić and Hernán Pérez as missing. While Valencia will be without in-form midfielder Dani Parejo. In addition to the Madrid-born player, Lucas Orban is also absent.

View from the dugout

Villarreal manager Marcelino García Toral spoke clearly about the game: "It will be dynamic, if you think about the characteristics of both sides. The side who play better will win. We need to defend well and attack clinically as many times as we can. If we play to our best we’re a tough side for any opponent".

His counterpart at Valencia, Nuno, was ambitious: "It’s a derby, meaning it is a tough game. We want our fans to be proud. We are ready to go and win".
