Match Facts:
Atletico Madrid (2nd, 82 pts):
-The Rojiblancos come into this one in great spirits on the back of their 1-0 Champions League semi-final first-leg win over Bayern Munich. Diego Simeone's men are also in fine form domestically, having emerged victorious in all of their last five Liga BBVA games.
- Saul Ñiguez is the man of the moment at the Calderon. He has chalked up four Liga BBVA goals so far this term and added to his season's total with a sensational goal - which has been seen the world over - against Bayern.

Rayo Vallecano (16th, 35 pts):
- This one has the feel of a must-win game for the Franjirrojos, who simply have to put points on the board in their bid to move clear of the drop zone. Last time out, Rayo found themselves 2-0 up against Real Madrid, but the Blancos turned things around to leave the hosts with nothing to show for their efforts.
- Paco Jemez's charges have managed just one away win all season. That victory came back on 20 September when they ran out 1-0 winners against UD Las Palmas.
