The LaLiga Santander Experience continues to generate wonderful stories which help to spread news of LaLiga's football across the globe. On this occasion, a group of eight subscribers and journalists with Digi Sport (Romania) and SuperSport (Nigeria and South Africa) took centre stage in an experience packed with football and thrills in the iconic city of A Coruña.

The weekend could not have kicked off in better fashion. The first stop on the itinerary was Estadio Abanca Riazor, where some of the special moments enjoyed by the lucky winners included a tour of the dressing rooms, an in-depth view of the club's history, taking a seat in the president's box and in the dugouts, before stepping out onto the turf of this impressive stadium.

After familiarising themselves with A Coruña's temple of football, it was time for the obligatory guided tour of the beautiful sights offered by the city. The Tower of Hercules, Monte de San Pedro and the old town were some of the spots which they got to explore in the city on the shores of the Atlantic Ocean.

However, the real football was still to come. The international journalists had the opportunity to conduct exclusive interviews with two Deportivo players out on the Riazor pitch: the Romanian striker Florin Andone and the Nigerian goalkeeper Francis Uzoho – two stars with their respective clubs and national teams.

The main event was undoubtedly the match between Depor and Barça. The winners got a close-up view of their favourite players arriving at the stadium and watched the warm-up from the touchline. During the 90 minutes they lived and breathed the electric atmosphere as every goal went in. The game ended with Barcelona crowned champions of LaLiga Santander 2017/18 and Deportivo with the bitter taste of defeat.

LaLiga Santander will press ahead with its mission to bring LaLiga Santander to every corner of the globe by delving into the most emblematic stadiums and bringing you the best matches during the season run-in. The next stop is Sevilla. Keep a close eye on the official broadcasters and follow them every matchday.
