Real Madrid and Valencia CF will face off in matchday 36 of Liga BBVA at the Santiago Bernabéu this weekend. The home side are hot on the heels of FC Barcelona in the fight for the Liga BBVA title, and will want to bounce back after slipping to a defeat in Europe against Juventus. Valencia, meanwhile, have not lost to Madrid in their last two meetings (1 win, 1 draw).
Team news
For Los Blancos, Karim Benzema returns to the squad. The Frenchman has returned from a knee injury that had kept him out in recent weeks, and he might get a game against Valencia. The visitors will be without Rodrigo Moreno, who has a three game ban after seeing red last time out.
View from the dugout
Carlo Ancelotti said that he will not be rotating because "the side are fresh". Also, he said he does not know if Benzema will start of make an impact from the bench. His counterpart, Nuno Espírito Santo said: "To beat Madrid you have to be precise and compete, and we won't ever stop trying to do so".
