RC Recreativo de Huelva and Córdoba CF face off in the penultimate round of Liga Adelante fixtures at 19:00 on Saturday. The tie is notable for having two former FC Barcelona players leading each side in Sergi Barjuan and Albert 'Chapi' Ferrer.
It is sure to be a tight fixture. Recreativo, who sit eighth on 59 points, will be looking to make a late push for the playoff places as they look to earn promotion to Liga BBVA. Their manager, Sergi Barjuan, will be without a number of players for the game: Jonathan Valle, Manuel Arana, Álvaro Antón and Jorge Larena are all missing. Also, Toño and Ruymán will undergo late fitness tests.
Córdoba, who are level pegging with their opponents, also have 59 points, and sit just one spot above Recreativo. 'Chapi' Ferrer will be looking to confirm a playoff place against the Andalusian side, who have not lost since the 20th of April against Alavés. Ferrer will be without the injured quartet of Carlos Caballero, Mikel Saizar, López Garai and Obiora for the crunch tie, whilst Bouzón is suspended.
