They will face the an Alicante outfit who need a win to lift them from the foot of the table and help boost morale as they fight against relegation.

Team news

View from the dugout

Athletic boss Ernesto Valverde said that the game against Elche is “absolutely vital” and highlighted that the visitor’s “strategy” is what worries him the most. Meanwhile his opposite number, Fran Escribá, affirmed that his men are going to Bilbao looking for the three points: “The side are doing well, and getting to know the things we have to change. They’re ready to play a good game”.
