LaLiga unveils its first sponsorship agreement in South Africa

This Tuesday saw LaLiga representatives take their places in South Africa to unveil a sponsorship agreement with soft drinks and sports beverages manufacturer, Kingsley Beverages. This is the first local sponsorship partnership secured by LaLiga's South African office. Kingsley Beverages is one of the leading brands in its field and boasts regional headquarters in Dubai, Johannesburg and London. 

Roger Diniz, one of the company directors at Kingsley, voiced his delight at the deal, commenting that, "We're very proud and excited to be LaLiga's regional sports drinks partner in South Africa. We share LaLiga's core values and believe that this partnership will allow us to strengthen and extend these values throughout the region. We trust that this will be the beginning of a long-lasting relationship." 

Kingsley Beverages was founded in 2007 with the aim of providing consumers with an alternative to non-alcoholic drinks. From the outset, the company quickly established itself within the market and has gone on to offer an increasingly extensive range of products. 

In the eyes of LaLiga's president, Javier Tebas, "this link-up comes about as the result of a strategic plan which seeks to internationalise our brand. One year ago we opened LaLiga's first offices in Africa and today we can see how our efforts are bearing their fruits. We always aim to link up with companies with an international spirit and that's certainly the case with Kingsley." 

Taking their place at the ceremony held to sign the agreement were LaLiga's managing director of international development, Vicente Casado and the organisation's Africa Manager, Antonio Barradas.
