Ernesto Valverde named Liga BBVA manager of the Month for October

Ten of twelve possible points. That is the outstanding record of Ernesto Valverde in this month's competition. Athletic Club has climbed positions at a rapid pace thanks to victories against Valencia CF, R. Sporting and R. Betis plus a valuable draw against RC Deportivo de la Coruña. A great deal of the credit must go for the Athletic coach, winner of Liga BBVA manager of the Month for October.

This award, granted by BBVA, main sponsor of the competition, and chosen by the editors of LaLiga.es, recognizes his path during these four matchdays in which in addition to show a major offensive ability (eleven goals in favor) has deployed a very eye-catching one touch football that helped him to achieve his first away win of the season at the Benito Villamarin.
