Match Facts:
Sevilla FC (6th, 41 pts):
- The fact that Sevilla are in the European spots is thanks to their excellent results at the Sanchez Pizjuan, where they have won their last 11 Liga BBVA games.
- If they manage a win against Eibar, Emery’s men will set the club's best league run at their home ground this century, surpassing the 11 consecutive victories under Juande Ramos in 2006.
- The coach has already announced that he will ring the changes after the game against FC Barcelona. One of them may be Federico Fazio, who could make his first appearance in front of the Sevilla fans after returning to the club, with Kolodziejczak’s suspension for an accumulation of yellow cards opening the doors to a place in the starting XI.

SD Eibar (8th, 36 pts):
- This is a tough but exciting week for Jose Luis Mendilibar’s team, who face Barcelona at home after their trip to Sevilla. The Basque side need a positive result to revert their poor run which has seen them lose five of their last six games.
- Eibar have not picked up a point on the road since their last trip to Seville, back on 3 January, when they thrashed Real Betis at the Benito Villamarin (4-0). They have lost their last three away games against Athletic Club, Atletico Madrid and RC Celta.
- The Basques have only won once in nine meetings with Sevilla in the Liga BBVA and Adelante (2000/01 season) and they have never taken home all three points from the Pizjuan.
