Alberto Moreno won’t travel to Villarreal

Sevilla FC left back Alberto Moreno ended yesterday’s training session with some muscular complaints. The resulting medical tests showed that he has picked up a fibrillar injury in his right quadriceps which will cause him to miss Sevilla’s trip to the Madrigal to take on Villarreal CF this Saturday at 16:00.

Alberto Moreno, who has played 15 matches this season, will receive medical treatment over the Christmas break with the hope of returning for the first Liga BBVA matchday of 2014, when Sevilla faces Getafe FC.
