PUMA and LALIGA launch a high-precision ball for 2025/2026 season

The sports brand PUMA and LALIGA officially present the new ball for the 2025/2026 season, with an innovative design that celebrates football as pure instinct, making the ball the pulse of the game.

Nota de Prensa

TUE 27.05.2025

It’s a ball designed with state-of-the-art technology to deliver outstanding performance in all playing conditions.

The ball features a completely updated visual language, incorporating new colours and graphic codes, and opting for a more refined aesthetic.

The ball retains the innovative structure of 12 large seamless sealed panels, optimising aerodynamics for a more stable and precise flight. This technology provides a reliable trajectory, ideal for both powerful shots and delicate passes, ensuring maximum consistency in all action of the game.

Its surface is made of 3D textured PU with a thickness of 1.1 mm, significantly improving the player's feel, grip and sensitivity with every touch. This texture not only serves functional purposes but has also been carefully crafted for its visual and graphic finish.

The design moves away from the conventional with a refined aesthetic, new chromatic codes and a visual narrative that incorporates unique iconography: each engraved symbol represents core football values such as passion, inclusion, fair play and strength. It also stands out for its bold colour combination: PUMA White, Coral, PUMA Black and Turquoise — carefully selected colours to maximise visibility on the pitch, even in challenging conditions.

Its high-frequency moulded construction ensures superior durability and explosive response with every shot, making it a high-performance ball for players, coaches and technical teams alike.

The new competition ball has been developed with state-of-the-art technology to meet PUMA's highest performance standards and is FIFA Quality Pro certified.

The new ball is an emblem that reflects the instinct to play, football as a sensation turning emotion into something tangible. It also symbolises the sport’s ability to inspire, unite and excite, a declaration of principles of a competition that honours the past, lives in the present and looks to the future, all with a strong, renewed and deeply symbolic visual identity.

The official PUMA LALIGA 2025/2026 ball will be available from today in selected shops worldwide.

A Grand Unveiling

The presentation of the Órbita ball took place today at the New space of El Corte Inglés on Castellana. The event featured Rayo Vallecano player Álvaro García, Spanish freestyle champion Joan, and content creator Darío Eme Hache.

Together, they discussed the features of the new ball, reflected on the fierce competitiveness of this season’s final stretch, and signed the ball for hundreds of children who came to the venue.
