LALIGA celebrated the presentation of its 2024/2025 season awards yesterday at a joint gala with Globe Soccer in Dubai. This marked the second consecutive edition of the strategic alliance between LALIGA and Globe Soccer, with several global sports stars in attendance, including Cristiano Ronaldo, Andrés Iniesta, Dembélé, and Novak Djokovic.

The Best Coach Beyond Stats by Microsoft Copilot award was collected by Joan Laporta on behalf of FC Barcelona, who highlighted the team's excellent performance last season: “I’d like to thank you for the recognition we are receiving at this event. Talking about the season, I’d say it was very competitive, as always, especially against our eternal rival.”
The Best Player by EA SPORTS award went to Raphinha, following a decisive campaign in which he established himself as a key offensive figure in the competition. The player, who could not attend the event, sent a message of gratitude to the coaching staff and the club, which he described as his family.
Jan Oblak received the Best Save of the Season award, which was collected in person by the Atlético de Madrid goalkeeper after another stellar campaign: “It’s not easy to achieve this in such a competitive league as LALIGA. I’m proud of this and grateful to my teammates and club who helped me.”
Lamine Yamal was honoured as the Best U-23 Player by Riyadh Season, confirming his status as one of the breakout stars in European football and an increasingly decisive figure in LALIGA EA SPORTS. LALIGA legend Andrés Iniesta presented the award and praised Yamal’s talent in front of the FC Barcelona fans.
The LALIGA awards for the 2024/2025 season were presented as part of the joint gala with Globe Soccer, the result of a historic partnership that for the second year running allowed LALIGA to recognise the standout performers of the season on an international stage.
