Joaquín Caparrós will be without Jhon Córdoba, Luis Martins, Rubén Rochina, Jeison Murillo and Darwin Machís. Meanwhile for the 'txuri urdin' David Zurutuza, Joseba Zaldua, Markel Bergara and Esteban Granero are all out.

Caparrós spoke about the visitor’s form: “They’ve got a new coach, have good players with a lot of quality but we already knew that. Each side has their players, their way of playing and we will try to do everything we can to get the win”.
His counterpart David Moyes spoke about his side’s away from: “We’ve had some great results against big sides but we have to consistency and that’s down to the players to show”.
