The Liga de Fútbol Profesional's commitment to innovation and the latest technology is a reality. The LFP's digital environments have enjoyed an unbeatable reception, reaching more than 15 million active users a month. Proof of this is the inclusion of La Liga TV, La Liga's official television channel app, being included among the best of 2014 on the Apple Store (#AppleStore2014).
The recognition comes after the Liga de Fútbol Profesional won the ‘Dominio.es’ award on 24 November for the best sports website, according to the Ministry of Industry, Energy and Tourism. The accolade is a sign of La Liga's more than 126% growth and worldwide expansion, with the USA, Mexico and Colombia as the main assets for taking information on Spanish football around the world.
The Liga de Fútbol Profesional's official television channel has been offering live matches, highlights, the goals from each matchday and other official video content since last February. The content can be viewed on the official app and the website.
The functional and complete official La Liga TV application was conceived with four types of content: live, highlights, goals and programmes. With several sections, users can directly access personalised content through the application, as well as watch Liga Adelante matches online. In addition, all the goals from each matchday, Liga BBVA and Liga Adelante highlights, special programmes and all the sections are available in a personalised format.
