UD Las Palmas latest (18th, 18 pts):
-Quique Setien's side lost their last match 3-2 at direct rivals Levante. As a result, the lower part of the table is tighter than ever. Las Palmas are only one point off the foot of the standings.
-Two draws, against Athletic Club and Malaga CF, and two defeats, against Atletico Madrid and Levante, have earned them only two points in their last four games. The Canary Islanders are seeking their first win of 2016.
-Las Palmas were knocked out of the Copa del Rey quarter-finals losing 1-0 in the second leg at home to Valencia CF.
RC Celta latest (5th, 34 points):
-Eduardo Berizzo's side arrive in high spirits, after eliminating Atletico Madrid in the Copa del Rey and qualifying for the semi-final. After a 0-0 first leg draw at home, Celta outplayed Atletico to win 3-2 at the Calderon with a stunning goal from John Guidetti.
-In the four games since the turn of the year, Celta have only managed one victory, against Levante at Balaídos. The other three games were defeats against Malaga, Atletico and Rayo Vallecano.
What to do this weekend in Las Palmas?
Do not leave town without going on the Route thorugh the Triana Neighborhood. Named after the Seville neighborhood, where Andalusian, British and Danish merchants once lived, this was the main commercial area of Las Palmas. It's most important attractions are: the Pérez Galdos Theatre, Hurtado de Mendoza Square, Cairasco Square and the Calle Mayor de Triana.
