The stars of ElClasico | LaLiga

The most hotly anticipated match of the season is fast approaching. This is not just any game, it is the biggest sporting event on the entire planet. Millions of football fans will revel for 90 minutes during LaLiga Santander's ElClasico – a clash which will feature FC Barcelona's and Real Madrid's star footballers representing two of the most decorated teams the world has ever known and in which, just like Budweiser, Ansu Fati, Memphis Depay, Vinicius Junior and  Karim Benzema will table their bids to be crowned 'Kings of the Match'.

Ansu Fati and Memphis Depay: Magic and goals in ElClasico

Following a serious injury, Ansu Fati looks to have rediscovered his mojo. The young Barça forward has returned to the fold determined to play a leading role for Los Azulgranas. The pearl of Los Cules' academy does not seem to feel the weight of wearing the legendary number 10 on his back. Fati has the honour of being the youngest player to score in ElClasico. The Spanish striker will attempt to do what he does best this coming Sunday against Real Madrid. He has made three appearances this season and netted two goals. In the latest game against Valencia CF he scored an absolute belter and made a key contribution to his team's comeback against Los Blanquinegros.

This season ElClasico also features a new protagonist in the shape of Memphis Depay. Barcelona's Dutch star has got off to a flying start in LaLiga Santander. Depay is rapidly earning the stripes of stardom reserved for a player with a magical touch, a sumptuous dribbling ability, the capacity to create danger and excellent leadership. Depay has racked up four goals and two assists in the eight games that he has played for Los Azulgranas, all of them as part of the starting XI. This will be his first Clasico, and he will definitely be one to watch during the big match.

Karim Benzema and Vinicius Junior: A lethal combination

Real Madrid, meanwhile, have witnessed the birth of a new partnership feared the world over: Karim Benzema and Vinicius Junior. The Frenchman brings his experience, quality, magic and goalscoring instincts, while the Brazilian is the perfect complement, adding dribbling ability, speed and goals to the team – two players who shine brighter than ever when they take to the pitch together.

Both Madrid players are among the top three goalscorers in the competition. The French frontman is the top scorer in the championship with nine goals in eight games, and also boasts the most assists in the division, having played in a teammate to score on seven occasions. Some of those final passes have been for his teammate Vini Jr. The young Brazilian striker has a haul of five goals and two assists so far in LaLiga Santander. These two lethal players are sure to pose a threat in the upcoming Clasico at the Camp Nou.
