The Santander Adrenalyn Challenge by LaLiga eSports, LaLiga’s second major project in the world of electronic sports, kicked off on 31 March with its first online tournament.
Through the Arena GG platform, users embarked on an exciting journey to get the first ticket to go through to the final phase that will be held at GamerGy 2018. After a series of tough qualifying rounds to find the best of three contenders, the user fail was proclaimed champion, winning 1-2 against nasito. Third place went to ElFerPincel with a 2-1 victory against DUITAMA.
The second tournament will start next Saturday, 7 April and the endgame will take place the following day on Sunday, 8 April. These tournaments will be repeated every Saturday until 19 May when this online phase’s eighth and final tournament will begin. The winners of each of these online qualifying rounds will earn a place in the final phase to be played at GamerGy between 22 and 24 June.
Throughout GamerGy 2018, Spain’s most important eSports event, eight other face-to-face open tournaments will be played, the winners of which will line up against the best players of the online phase. These sixteen gamers will compete against another in a gripping final that will take place during the event.
