The LaLiga Santander Experience serves up an unforgettable weekend in Granada

For a group of eight lucky competition winners and journalists from LaLiga’s broadcasters in Turkey, Israel and Tanzania respectively, the clash between Granada CF and Real Madrid was a match they won’t forget in a hurry.

Treated to the full LaLiga Santander Experience, they were given a behind-the-scenes guided tour of the Nuevo Los Carmenes stadium – visiting the home dressing rooms, media zones and the presidential suite – and explored the iconic city of Granada, learned all about its history and took in its unique setting beneath the snow-peaked Sierra Nevada mountains.

The highlight of the weekend, however, came as the group was given the opportunity to watch their favourite players arriving at the stadium up close and to lap up the pre-match atmosphere pitchside during the warmups. The fans then headed up to a private box to enjoy the game and the performance of some of the world’s biggest stars, including Sergio Ramos and James Rodriguez, as Real Madrid ran out 4-0 winners over Tony Adams’ Granada.
