Football is coming home. Valencia CF and Athletic club were the first two LaLiga sides in a pre-season contest and both did it in a very sweet way, beating Wiener SK 0-4 and by 0-14 at the Txorierri selection, respectively.
The Sportclub-Plats in Vienna, the oldest stadium in Austria, was the stage that hosted the Valencian squad. The team led by Nuno Espirito Santo offered a great image in the Austrian capital, wrapping up the match in just 23 minutes, thanks to goals by Rodrigo Moreno, Álvaro Negredo and José Gayà.

Already in the primary stages of the second half, Santi Mina widened the gap and finished the 0-4 with definition against the goalkeeper. With this comfortable lead, Young talents like Zahibo, Fran Villalba or Rober could show their quality on the Viennese lawn.
Meanwhile, Athletic Club also kick started the match against the squad of Txorierri which resulted in a festival of goals for the 'Lions'. Javier Eraso, Ager Aketxe and Kike Sola were the big figures to score a hat trick each, while Borja Viguera scored twice. The rest of the goals came from Carlos Gurpegui, Ibai Gómez and Markel Susaeta.
