The Champions League's fifth set of group-stage fixtures saw Real Madrid join Atletico Madrid in the last 16 with their victory away at Sporting CP on Tuesday. FC Barcelona have the chnace to make it three, while Diego Simeone's side are seeking to secure first place in Group D.

Luis Enrique's side face a trip to Scottish champions Celtic. The Azulgranas are on the verge of securing their passage into the last 16, with a win or draw in Glasgow coupled with Manchester City avoiding defeat away to Borussia Mönchengladbach enough to see the Catalans progress. What's more, Barça will qualify as group leaders should they prevail and City fail to do so. Luis Suarez and Leo Messi look poised to return after the pair missed this weekend's goalless stalemate against Malaga CF due to suspension and stomach illness respectively. Meanwhile, Jeremy Mathieu, Samuel Umtiti and long-term absentee Andres Iniesta are all ruled out through injury.

Atletico are also in action on Wednesday night, and having sealed their place in the next stage with a 2-1 victory over Rostov last time out, they will be looking to push on and ensure that they finish top of Group D. Diego Simeone's charges entertain a PSV Eindhoven side who are already out of the competition, with the hosts knowing that victory will guarantee them top spot with a game to spare, as long as Bayern Munich fail to win or likewise if the Rojiblancos draw and the Germans are beaten.
