Team News:

- Malaga CF: Juan Carlos and Carlos Kameni (both injured).

Rayo Vallecano: David Cobeño, Patrick Ebert, Piti, Razvan Rat and Toño (all injured).

Match Facts:

Malaga (8th, 41 pts):

- After losing at home to Athletic Club last time out, Javi Gracia's men are eager to get back to winning ways and to do so in front of their own fans. Their last victory came back on Matchday 30, away to fellow Andalusians Real Betis.

"The word 'relaxation' hasn't crossed my mind," Gracia insisted at a press conference in the build-up to the meeting with Rayo. With his team's Liga BBVA status secure and their hopes of European qualification now looking like a pipe dream, albeit it remains a mathematical possibility, the coach was adamant that his charges won't be taking it easy between now and the end of the campaign, starting against the visitors from Vallecas.

Rayo (16th, 34 pts):

- An 81st-minute bullet header from Miku handed his side the spoils against Villarreal CF, earning them three massive points in their battle against relegation.

- Javi Guerra and that man Mikuhave been leading the charge, having both got on the scoresheet in Rayo's two most recent triumphs. Guerra broke the deadlock at home to Getafe CF, before Miku clinched victory. It was the same story against Villarreal, again at Vallecas. Now the pair are bidding to take their double act on the road, specifically to La Rosaleda.

Don't leave Malaga without... checking out the Glass and Crystal Museum. Set in an 18th-century mansion, it offers a fascinating exploration of the history of humanity through glass. You're sure to see the glass as half-full after your visit.
