Rayo Vallecano win the Qbao cup

The Wutaishan stadium in Nanjing de Nanjing hosted the match between Rayo Vallecano and Real Sociedad in the LFP World Challenge Tour, attended by about 14,000 spectators who enjoyed seeing the LaLiga players in action.

The game was very balance during the first half, with good chances for both sides. The best of Real Sociedad’s was signed by Imanol Aguirretxe, with a shot that just shaved the crossbar. During the second half it was Paco Jémez's team who won in the intensity and was connecting on occasions until finally the game-winning goal came, thanks to Álex Moreno in the 84th Minute.

At the end of the meeting, Xabi Prieto, Real Sociedad captain, picked up the Fair Play award. On his part, Álex Moreno was elected Man of the Match and David Cobeño, Capitan of Rayo, lifted the trophy that confirms his team as winners of the Qbao Cup.

Esteban Granero, midfielder of the San Sebastian team, was surprised at the sheer number of fans who wore the Real Sociedad shirt: "As a player of Real, it’s beautiful to come out and meet people with our shirt". Meanwhile, goal scorer Álex Moreno seemed satisfied with the performance of the Vallecano team: "The truth is that I’m very happy for the individual prize, but without the work of the team, I wouldn’t have received it".
