Sevilla FC and Rayo Vallecano face off in matchday 33 of Liga BBVA. The home side will be looking to continue to keep their home form up and move closer to fourth place. The Andalusian side made it through to the Europa League semis last week, and are eight without defeat in the league. Their next challenge is the Madrid outfit, who will be trying to end this run and move up the table.

Sevilla will be without the injured duo Nico Pareja and Vitolo. While Rayo travel south without Cristian Álvarez and Léo Baptistão, through injury, and Tito through suspension.

"Rayo are a side who compete well and they play with the kind of attitude that lets them do good things. If your are not prepared and your block doesn’t work for you, things can get complicated", said Sevilla boss Unai Emery.
His counterpart at Rayo, Paco Jémez, highlighted the difficulty of the game and spoke of the opponents: "It's a difficult ground to go to, Sevilla haven’t lost in a long time and they have the crowd behind them. It would be great to win there, not just for history, but also for the fact it would allow us to challenge for seventh place. It would give us an impulse".
