Pressure on Barcelona to stop the rot

After back-to-back LaLiga defeats – not to mention European disappointment – Luis Enrique's men are targeting a return to winning ways against Valencia, who are fresh off beating Sevilla.

Team News:

FC Barcelona: Jeremy Mathieu, Sandro Ramirez and Thomas Vermaelen (all injured); Arda Turan (suspended).

Valencia CF: Zakaria Bakkali, Denis Cheryshev and Pablo Piatti (all injured).

Match Facts:

Barcelona (1st, 76 pts):

- Luis Enrique's side are in the midst of their worst spell of the campaign. Knocked out of the Champions League in midweek and having lost their last two league games, the Azulgranas are desperate to get back on track against Valencia.

- Whatever happens, the Catalans are guaranteed to end this matchday at the top of the table. However, following Real Madrid's victory, a loss would leave the champions just a point ahead of Zinedine Zidane's team.

Valencia (14th, 37 pts):

- Pako Ayestaran's charges overcame Sevilla FC 2-1 at Mestalla last time out, courtesy of a 91st-minute Alvaro Negredo winner. This brought an end to a run of four consecutive Liga BBVA defeats.

 - Los Che are aiming to get at least a draw from their visit to the Camp Nou. They need to keep getting points on the board to steer clear of the relegation picture.
