CD Mirandes have appointed Pablo Alfaro as their new coach for what remains of the 2016/17 season.
The former player, who replaces Javier Álvarez de los Mozos, takes charge of the side hoping to spark a turn around in their fortunes as they look to secure their future in the division. Alfaro takes charge of the team from Miranda de Ebro after having coached Pontevedra CF, Recreativo de Huelva, CD Leganés, SD Huesca and UD Marbella.
Mirandes lie bottom of LaLiga1l2l3, five points from safety with 11 games left to play, and face league leaders Levante UD in their next outing this weekend.
