The six LaLiga Under-12 teams in Colombia are continuing to enjoy their stay. Having received a warm welcome at the airport on their arrival, they followed this up by being accompanied on a guided tour of Barranquilla by a representative of the City Council.
Barranquilla Council’s Culture Secretary, Afif Siman, was on hand to act as host to the players, who first visited the building of the former Intendencia Fluvial (river administration), constructed at the beginning of the 20th century.
They then made their way to the mouth of the Magdalena River, where they had the opportunity to walk along the esplanade and get to know one of Barranquilla’s most well-known natural spots.
To round off the tour and ensure the best of souvenirs of their activities, the LaLiga U-12 sides posed for a photograph with the letters of the famous “Barranquilla” sign at the entrance to the city.
