With Matchday 4 of LaLiga Santander coming to a close, it is time to find out who made the cut in the LaLiga Fantasy MARCA Best XI.
There is a strong Getafe CF presence in the lineup, with no fewer than four of their charges featuring, including Player of the Matchday Angel. The team's overall points tally is an impressive 131.
Valencia CF's Jaume Domenech gets the nod between the sticks, having produced a string of fine saves in the 0-0 stalemate at home to R. Betis, racking up 12 points.
Bruno was the highest scoring defender over the weekend, notching 13 points, having defended so stoutly at the Ramon Sanchez-Pizjuan. His Getafe teammate Leandro Cabrera (12) also earned his spot in the side thanks to the visitors' splendid clean sheet. Rayo Vallecano's Abdoulaye Ba (12) and Villarreal CF's Miguel Layun (11) complete the rearguard.
The midfield trio is composed of D. Alaves's Ibai Gomez (11), after his last-minute winner away to R. Valladolid CF, Athletic Club's Iker Muniain (10) and RC Celta's Sofiane Boufal (9).
Getafe boast a deadly duo in attack, with Angel clinching the Player of the Matchday accolade on 16 points, thanks to a sublime display away to Sevilla FC which he rounded off with a brace, and his partner in crime Jorge Molina also making the grade, having set up the first goal. The third and final forward is Girona FC's Cristhian Stuani (14), who struck twice in his side's 3-2 win over Celta.
