One of the most prestigious Spanish competitions will be available in different European countries in a pay per view form or paid subscription. Each match will have a price of €4.99, and there is also the possibility of getting an extended subscription to continue throughout the competition (except the final) for 19.99 €.
The competition will be marketed under the name of "LaLigaTVCopa" and broadcasting will be released on Wednesday with the last 16 game between Villanovense and FC Barcelona. The match can be bought via: www.youtube.com/laligatvcopa in PPV mode. Soon, the channel will be available to subscribe to the entire season.
The territories include UK, Italy, Belgium, Holland, Portugal, Russia, Hungary, Slovakia, Slovenia, Macedonia, Ukraine, Switzerland, and Greece. In Asia, Japan, South Korea and Hong Kong and Brazil and Argentina in South America are included, altough it does not rule out the incorporation of othe countries in the deal.
This agreement shows the interest of LaLiga and MEDIAPRO to project Spanish football internationally and to make our products be a global phenomenon. Copa Del Rey joins other content broadcast live on YouTube such as the Champions League, the Youth League or the Bundesliga.
