What does it mean to you to represent LaLiga around the world?

I'm honoured and very proud to represent the best league in the world. The best players in the world have played here and the mark that we've left is recognised today. We're privileged to be chosen as official representatives.

Why is LaLiga the best competition in the world?

It's the best because it's the league that produces the best results in European competitions. Despite there being a notable difference between a group of two or three teams and the rest, the sides just below them still perform at a very high level which is seen when they compete on the European stage.

What are your thoughts on the growth of football in Africa/India and China?

The growth of football in India is phenomenal. I've been told there's an incredible level on enthusiasm in the stadiums, especially since the development of such a competitive league. I think that if we work hard to kindle that enthusiasm and to reach out to the population, there's huge potential for football in India.

What's your take on the quality within LaLiga and on the title race?

LaLiga is a bit tighter this year. Although it'll be hard to catch Real or Barça, as a former Sevillista, I hope Sevilla win LaLiga because I believe nothing is impossible in sport. I'm sure it'll be exciting no matter what.

What sort of shape are the two teams in going into El Clasico? Who are the favourites?

If we look at both sides' recent form in LaLiga, Real Madrid have the edge, but we know that there's never a clear favourite in this fixture. Motivation and desire will certainly be at a high in the game.
