Jose Campaña named Best Midfielder in LaLiga 1l2l3 2015/16

Jose Gomez Campaña (Seville, 31 May 1993) has been named Best Midfielder in LaLiga 1|2|3 2015/16. The 23-year-old was an influential figure for AD Alcorcon throughout the campaign, thanks to his ability to lead by example, dictate the tempo of attacks and his knack for picking out the right pass at the right time.

Campaña also chipped in with three goals, showing he is no stranger to finding the back of the net. His first didn't come until Matchday 17 against D. Alaves, which was followed by efforts against Nastic on Matchday 28 and Elche CF on the final day of the season.

Alcorcon battled until the final minute of the campaign in a bid to secure a playoff berth, but ended up falling just short of qualifying for the season-ending tournament, finishing seventh.

After a summer switch to Levante UD, the Andalusian midfielder is aiming for promotion once again and will be hoping the Valencia-based club can secure an immediate return to the top flight.
